One of the two baby starlings found their way back to their nest. The other one seems a bit clumsier and is still exploring the open beams and glass roof elements without finding the one crack that leads back to their siblings. This must be the one we observed yesterday, as they were trying to enter the nest very awkwardly and uncoordinated.

Update: the little #starlings seem to have figured out how they can get from their nest behind the gutter to the big room inside the house and back to the nest. Also, they seem to think that the place is ideal to exercise their flying skills. We did offer them water and open windows, and have told our landlord that he might want to fix the wall rather soon so that no other animals get stuck inside the house. #birds #BirdsOfMastodon
