I've been working on fixing a bug in an Open Source project for going on 3 months now. At the time of this writing, I've added just short of 10,000 lines of code to the project in an effort to fix the bug. The majority of those lines though are not production code: the project had no unit tests before I began. So I've been unit testing all code that I have added or modified. 1/
