i've been hacking on the tinyrwm.c example river provides for probably one or two months now and had that stupid idea to build a "tabbed mode" (what sway has at $mod+w) only window manager. It works surprisingly well, but will probably go back to the drawer of unfinished projects soon as I don't plan to maintain a river wm (or spend as much time with this experiment as I *actually* did)
