Why does Wayland often feel so unfinished? Why does every desktop environment have to reimplement so much? Little one central tool like xrandr to control your screen configs instead of a clusterfuck of individual tools that don't quite have the same feature set? I often don't think Wayland is ready, but KDE is deprecating X instead soon.
