Watching a video where a guy explain how to use AI coding agent effectively thanks to TDD, and omg, it feels he would have been so much faster coming up with the tests outline if he just did not use an agent... His whole "preprocessing" stuff feels so "I need this md file because my agent is dumb and I'm not aware this md file is just what I would write directly as unit tests so I'm just reinventing the wheel and wasting compute in the process" I think the most depressing is that "in the past" we where like "this approach feels nice, we could streamline it", and bam, we invented BDD. Whereas now it's like "the agent will handle the boilerplate, so let's live forever with this boilerplate" 😕 (it's so depressing to see people excited in the comments, like, not realizing how this is wasteful... I'm pretty worried our industry will soon be fossilized) #aislop
