@sarae@ecoevo.social @mclare@recurse.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr right, so like, we're an information privacy expert, so one of our core skills is answering questions in the form "why do they need that data" this one is an easy case. you already know the answer. we're only weighing in just in case you had any doubt that there could even be the tiniest justification beyond that. we're not medical experts but we really, really don't think there is. they need it so they can sell you stuff
