And yes, I am full aware of the myriad issues that passkeys have; from UX, to user education, to vendor lock-in, and inconsistent, anti-user, anti-competitive implementations, they are certainly not without fault. They are still new on the scene though, and seeing us - the tech nerd community at least - work through these issues together is rather fun. I choose to have hope for their future.
