I've been a "professional presenter". I represented my (large) global company at various large events - and the feedback I got was that my presentations were much more popular than the average.
I seldom had any text on the slides, beyond some keyword. They mostly consisted of imagery supporting the thing I was currently talking about. This helps focus the audience on my message.
I used CC-licensed images exclusively. Sure, we could've afforded purchasing stock images, but that's both boring and I'd rather give credit to "amateurs".
I don't see the issue using AI imagery _if_ I cannot find CC-licensed images that fit. But I guess that suddenly makes the whole presentation bad according to the people who voted in this poll.
