the funny thing for me is my love for #greenday but not for their music but for their personae i love some tracks, still haven’t listened to every album, because they are too energetic for me and i get overloaded easily but their crowd work and their overall vibe — i do hope to see them live someday and maybe someone considers them sellouts, but i think it’s cool they signed with a major label to disseminate their music to broader audience — they were one of few bands at that time who were both popular and openly political. like you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs #music
