I have no colleagues, no friends, no family - I often wonder how it will be discovered that I've died 🤔
I know exactly 1 person who is still masking seriously - a librarian at the local library.
I saw a post a while back where the person tested positive for COVID, and was complaining about 3 days in a room apart from the rest of their family being "the absolute longest I've gone without human contact in my life". I wondered if that justified the invention of a word like "relationship-ist" to yell at the screen, because it just reeked of privilege based on having zero experience of deep, ongoing loneliness.
So, thanks for your post.
While it's not good to read, it's helped me to know that there's others out there feeling that way.
