but.. is Altbot really that bad of a use for generative "AI"? it's pretty lightweight on processing power, it does not profit micr0 in any way, it is not used to plagiarize or create any content but simple descriptions for media, so... is it really that evil?
i guess one could make an argument about how the tools that allow for Altbot also allow for other kinds of worse things, but i am not entirely sure the idea is to simply drop the concept altogether.
Plus... we have been receiving a ton of complaints about Altbot with zero other justification other than direct personal attacks to Micr0 and this instance, straight into our reports inbox, from small instances to the Fediverse cesspool itself: mastodon.social

@goat@fuzzies.wtf @curiousicae@tech.lgbt @0x57e11a@void.lgbt @40796c19@void.lgbt @micr0@wetdry.world yeah i dont vibe with the harassment of yall. thats unacceptable and if i see anyone from my instances doing it i will moderate accordingly. i have reasons for my beliefs and disagree with you about altbot but i dont think it's okay for randos to be a dick about it. i think it's a well-intentioned project of positivity.
