@Old_IT_geek @TucsonSentinel Terrible idea. Have you ever had the biometric sensor on your phone misbehave? Now imagine dealing with that in the middle of a life-and-death situation. Police usually wear gloves in the field too, biometric sensors usually don't work through gloves. This would only add unnecessary complexity and points of failure in what is supposed to be an emergency device. Universally, this is a bad idea.
