@wolfie@deadinsi.de @Euan@speedlines.stctp.zone thank you both for sharing your thoughts. i guess i overlooked how “footballer” and “pop star” still represent skills when you strip away the fame, but that’s less true with an influencer. there are skills there and it would be fine to encourage a child to pursue those skills (photography, videography, writing, storytelling) but all of that is secondary to the fame, the literal “influencing”.
