With the talk of SSD/HDD shortage, I've decided to trawl through all my old files and sort out what I don't need.
I'm intending to put files in two categories:
- important non-replaceable stuff (generally things I've created); hopefully I can get this down to <64GB?
- probably re-obtainable files (e.g. backups of DVDs, games, programs, etc)
It's somewhat daunting with several terabytes to go through. Does anyone have tips or other ideas about doing this?
This is less about "backing up files", and more about "reducing my digital possessions (burdens)".
