As you say, some of them are opposed to accessibility accommodations because they're in favor of opression of disabled people. Mostly those same people are actively looking for reasons to gather files on you, police your behavior, betray your kids' privacy. When I look at the individuals who are spending effort on maintaining and improving accessibility (or often trying to build back up to a previous level that was wantonly destroyed), those are not the ones jumping on the censorship bandwagon
