I feel like the crowd here might be able to help me answer an idle question. Around 2015 or so, I met two of the most entertaining Max Planck institute researchers while on a Nat Geo cruise in the Galapagos. They were completing sleep studies on frigate birds, catching and re-catching the birds to find out if and how they sleep while flying 1000s of miles. Could anyone help me find the publication of their study?
