@jessamyn@glammr.us Out here on Salishaan Island, our village likewise has about 4500 people, and it feels like we live some place utterly isolated from the city down by the bay (8 km away from us). We have three pubs that close up at 22:00. Used to have five pubs. Drinking then walking home is always an option. (and we have a wonderful public library, too!)
