You get a notification that a new major release is available and you click to upgrade. Ubuntu has that `do-release-upgrade` command or something like that. Debian is a tad more manual but usually straight forward.

But randomly takes down something important along the way. This time it removed all my music and videos. Another time it got rid of a client’s monthly project workflow software + data. Another time it destroyed my email server. It’s a fresh new unexpected surprise every time 💅
