I'm finally excited about the new Ghost in the Shell! The latest trailer looks like it's going to be a fun exaggeration of 80s/early 90s animation, and probably closer to the manga in tone (which admittedly I've barely read). I love my serious, cynical, Mamoru Oshiified GitS, but the last couple shows really haven't spoken to me at all, and this looks like an actually fresh take.
