Second time in 24 hours I've heard the phrase "History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes". Never heard it before, apparently written by Theodor Reik in 1965. It does indeed rhyme and sums up the times. https://grokipedia.com/page/History_doesnt_repeat_itself_but_it_often_rhymes
