@janpieter@mastodon.social @riley@toot.cat @ysegrim@furry.engineer @grendel84@tiny.tilde.website I think I got confused and we don't have EU wide laws yet, the German laws were passed in 2017 and the EU is planning pay transparency laws but they haven't been implemented yet. But it's all somewhat pointless, at least in Germany: Über Geld redet man nicht. ("one doesn't talk about money")

I'm guessing no Dutch judge would allow such a clause, if they even exist. But NL is much like DE in this regard: talking about your salary or financial situation is socially taboo.
