I wish the video game/anime/etc trope of defeating the bad parts of you in combat to stop them controlling your life could happen IRL. I wish to punt my brain weasels into submission alongside a band of plucky adventurers. Maybe that would let me do things without agonising over every tiny little thing again. That'd be nice. (And it'd be okay if the plucky adventurers forgot about me until they needed something. I don't gotta tag along with them. Too much else to do.)
