@RubenWA@social.vivaldi.net Amazon Web Services is a large provider for internet traffic as well. The outage of one of their main internet traffic 'hubs', us-east-01, seems to be the cause of the current disruptions in internet traffic between the US and Europe. But yes, decentralising servers for redundancy in case of such disruptions isn't a bad idea. @Mer__edith@mastodon.world
