@marcoarment@mastodon.social @codinghorror@infosec.exchange It’s kind of depressing it’s still framed as trying UBI out to see if it works. Don’t get me wrong, this is absolutely a big deal. We know UBI works, and extremely well. We have well over a thousand trials at this point, all across the US and in a bunch of other countries. It consistently increases health, increases happiness, increases economic stability, increases employment, reduces crime, reduces homelessness, improves basically every societal metric we’ve ever tracked.
