During #lent one of my practices annually is to pick a #book that becomes my companion throughout the season. For the past 5 years Flemming Rutledge's "The Crucifixion" has been that book. However, this year, I chose a different companion. I am spending time each day in Malcom Guite's "The Word in the Wilderness: A Poem a Day for Lent and Easter." What a spectacular choice! If you are looking for a book to pick up this Lenten season, I would highly recommend Guite's book.
