Before/After: Mexican Sunflower hard prune along our back fence line. My husband mulched it down with the SunJoe and dumped it on our #compost heap. I’m always shocked at how small the pile is after mulching because look how gigantic the plant is. It’ll bush back out pretty quickly especially now that it’s raining again. But there is a beautyberry shrub and two #TropicalFruit trees close by that will benefit from having less shade and more room as they mature. #gardening #permaculture
