@whitequark@treehouse.systems@astolfo.social @lina@vt.social I think what annoys me though, is the ironic inversion of violence OSS maintainers are a very easy target to blame, and kinda like in other politics, transparency backfires as dishonesty gets rewarded People are gonna be more likely to abandon OSS over proprietary software including because of this transparency, and I wonder how we're gonna rally in more people over a shared hate What I am also curious about is whether some people use this stuff specifically because they believe they claw back more control for the community than they spend
