The next day, I was very moved by the documentary from and about Stadtwerkstatt - which has been around in Linz since the late 70s and has contributed immensely not only to the local music scene, but also to the development of digital culture and of course the promotion of feminism, which was a major topic of the film which was told exclusively by the women involved in Stadtwerkstatt. If you ever get a chance to see this film - I 100% recommend it, it will travel to some festivals soon, so be on the lookout! 5/7

@servus@social.servus.at Finally, the last day of AMRO, I listened to a really great talk about digital sovereignty in Germany from Anna Kraher (who is not on mastodon yet, but hopefully this will change soon!), she talked about the growing interest in intelligence from tech companies in an age where this “intelligence” can be mined by big tech to train their AI models. This was followed by a super interesting talk about data centers and agriculture from Manu Zechner. 6/7
