@Phosphenes@mastodon.social @djsundog@fedi.reclaim.technology My wife showed me a Youtube Short of a "butch lesbian" rescue cat being adopted after a year at the shelter and they had a "U-Haul" piggy bank they used in the video and were sending with the cat. U-Haul Lesbian. My wife also loves small things. Little figures, little cars, etc. I could tell she wanted one. I looked it up and the banks are cardboard. And that's fine - I can actually order one of those pretty readily, but I saw the HO scale models and thought that was even better and would stand up to aging a bit more. The reason why I'm on a time crunch is it's our 23rd anniversary on Friday and I wanted to give it to her as an anniversary present. Why New York?
