Saying a lot of rationalists endorse eugenics is a bit like saying a lot of Nazis endorse white supremacy. Rationalism (the online subculture, not the older philosophical meaning of the term) is a subculture predicated on a notion of "general intelligence" which *is* reified ableism and therefore, necessarily, entails eugenics.
