@slace@hachyderm.io @tonybaloney@fosstodon.org I am the last person to defend user-hostile practices in software, but I’ve never seen this with NVIDIA drivers. How are you getting them?

@den@hawaiidiff.com @tonybaloney@fosstodon.org I set this PC up a long time ago and installed GeForce Experience as that seemed to be the recommended way to do driver management. It notifies me when I have a new driver ready to install, but randomly it'll sign me out and then I have to MFA back in. Yes, I could ditch it, but then I'd have to be proactive in checking for driver updates.
