Yesterday, the college DJ on deck must have received a break-up text while on-air because their voice got sad and they give their listeners the advice to "never settle," then did their best to carry on with a wavering voice, right on the edge of crying.
Braver than the troops. Even read a PSA before going back to music.

@signalstation@raggedfeathers.com College radio is where I heard the single best DJ name that I've ever heard. DJ from Full House But to your larger point, it is really something special to listen to music picked by someone else, and college radio in particular, because those tunes are selected by someone with their finger directly on the pulse of what is cool in the moment. It's a beautiful thing!
