@inquiline@union.place The first time I saw footage from this film, it was the sound that caught me. It shouldn't have - I travel through these zones too, and I've heard it. I just don't think I knew what I was hearing until this. Unlike sounds that hit your ears, this feels to me like something that groans up from the earth through the soles of your feet and into your innards. Unsurprising, given what's powering it, but it took hearing it played back to really recognize it.
