@acdw@tilde.zone @piusbird@tilde.zone IIRC I think the primary purpose was as an extra buffer prior to clipboard history being commonplace, so you'd transfer the primary/clipboard to the secondary, copy something new, and then transfer the secondary back to the clipboard when you want it back
