I made a thing! (see next post) I sometimes wish for a #shell tool to track what I'm doing and what I find out while I work on stuff, particularly when exploring things. `script` (which documents shell sessions in full) is too low-level; adding comments to shell history lacks timestamps; I don't want to invest mental capacity into a "big" tool either. So here we go: This #bash script records your notes of progress made, together with start/end timestamps. Public domain – use as you wish.
