In South Africa we have (had) many NGO's working with government health departments providing support for trans health care, HIV health care and men's health who have all had funding cut this last week from US sources. The NGOs are all shutting down, people are losing their jobs and the important support they provide is now gone. Yesterday, I heard about someone who works for an international NGO. She was employed to go train journalists across the world. The NGO also had it's finding cut even though they were in the middle of a 5 year commitment from their funding sources. She has had her contact terminated. US policy is affecting many in need around the world. #uspolitics #uspol
