@arossp@mastodon.social oh good. Make sure you put in the bit about Don Maclean repeatedly getting loaded and confessing his identity as a KGB officer while he was in Washington, but everybody thought he was just winding them up. That's my favorite part of the story.

@Geoffberner@zeroes.ca The whole Cambridge Five story is fantastic. But here I'm focused on how MI5 suspected Philby long before he was eventually caught, but MI6 was dismissive because MI6 drew from British upper crust, and MI5 was seen as more working class.
