@wikiyu@infosec.exchange No, that option has been available for quite some time. The desktop apps sync with my phone client independently. I do need to use the desktop client(s) once in a while to keep them connected to my phone client and receive all my messages in the desktop clients as well. After you haven't used a particular desktop client for a while, Signal prompts you to log into the service on in days so it stays connected. @signalapp@mastodon.world
