Spiraling about work again, feeling myself lose the joy I used to have for programming and problem solving. LLMs are quickly taking over every conversation, either with LLM slop directly or talking *about* AI. Management is getting increasingly unrealistic expectations, asking us to somehow both double “productivity” and increase quality at the same time. But I just want to make things I’m proud of? And that’s feeling more and more impossible?
