@navi@catcatnya.com FYI, the term egg means a person who hasn't accepted being trans yet. Calling other people eggs usually implies that they are trans (usually almost always binary trans) and in denial of it. As someone who is non-binary, it doesn't feel good to be called an egg. I have a long painful history of people calling me an egg, insisting that I'm something that I'm not, or insisting that I'm not really sure about what I am. I'm absolutely 100% confident in my Agender :agender_flag: identity. I don't appreciate when people question my self-identification and plenty of other NonBinary people feel the same way. Just to be clear, I don't think that they intended to make that implication by using #egg I think that they were just using an applicable tag since it is a drawing of an egg. @pomagarnet@chaos.social @kde@floss.social

@Draconic_NEO@pawb.fun @navi@catcatnya.com @pomagarnet@chaos.social @kde@floss.social While I do feel nonbinary fits under the trans umbrella and that is how I identify I feel strongly in support of this. Even suspected "eggs" are people and rather than trying to push a person in a direction its almost always the right move to make a warm and open and accepting environment that is conducive to the person learning about and exploring themselves. You know, warm and gentle the way you.. Treat an egg?
