Is there a greater and a lesser evil between the US parties? No. They are both evil, and greater and lesser are a matter of chance and historical contingency. Both supported genocide. Both had the same deportation policies. Both, for that matter, put tariffs on Chinese renewable products that were the best chance for the US to do something about global climate change. Our entire system should end.

I'm already seeing posts to the effect of "Biden could have ended the war a year earlier" which is true, but it is taken to mean that this is Biden's fault, which is false. Harris didn't say anything different. No leader in the Democratic Party said anything different. Ordinary voters kept saying that they knew genocide was happening but we had to vote for it anyways. What do you call someone who doesn't turn against a system when that system offers no choice except genocide?
