@mjd@mathstodon.xyz Given how loosely I've seen people use "orthogonal" in these sorts of metaphorical ways, I'd be pretty surprised if the precise definition being suggested by @simontatham@hachyderm.io catches on. But part of me thinks it would be cool if it did.
