Did you know? I am sure you did not know that the first High Five on Oct 2nd 1977 was done by Glenn Burke while playing for the Dodgers. He was among the first professional athletes coming out as gay. His teammate Dusty Baker scored his 30th home run for the season. Burke ran on the field to congratulate and rose his hand over his head and Baker slapped it. So yes, high fives are gay. #queerhistory #queer #gay #history
