@HydrePrever@mathstodon.xyz @jimbob@aus.social @jospueyo@fosstodon.org I've had 2 packages that needed updating (years after we've submitted them, the PhD students and professor who did the research are long gone). Both cases the message was brief, I replied "Lemme look at it but it's exam now" and I got a "you just need to change this" back. Changed it, tested it, uploaded it, and half an hour later things were done. If maintainers can't be bothered, don't blame CRAN.
