@hpower@swiss.social Oh well, there you go! I would have never guessed this to be a US parking space given the available context since they're so rare on this continent. I think Ikea does it for the same reason every Costco looks like it was designed for suburban Seattle, right down to one-way gas bars. "We designed it where we started and this meets or exceeds the requirements almost everywhere else, so we'll do it this way whether we have to or not"
