@bodhipaksa@mastodon.scot I once traveled to another city for work and had recently bought my first iPod. I listened to music while walking from my hotel to the work building. That's when I realized how important visual indicators are for people who have difficulty hearing (waiting for traffic signals and elevator lights). The abled among us take our abilities for granted. It's important to consider the path others must take in this life, and help them out whenever possible.
