@hgrsd@hachyderm.io Though, the framing of drugs recently changed with characters more casually smoking pot when parts of the world legalized it (remember, "illegal" was the keyword here, though, arbitrary as it may be). I remember, drugs were quite demonized in my childhood and youth. Did it work? Somewhat but it might also have had the opposite effect on some.
But I digress …

@hgrsd@hachyderm.io Another plot point, TV series just cannot make (though, there might be rare exceptions): If people are polyamourus or form a throuple, these almost always have to end tragically (reminds me of the 'Bury your gays' or the 'Women in refrigerators' trope). Are these laws set in stone? Of course not. But they are learned(!) concepts by which most people would set their expectations and judge the contents. 7/
