So I downloaded a Fruityloops just to see how it worked. So far I don't know. Then I immediately tried to defeat the trial and concluded they could sniff me out. I was thinking how does it know you are opening a saved file? So that is naive but it turns out in version 20.9.2.2963 (tested) you can alter one byte in the .flp file and it will import like the demos. I think maybe some plugins can't be adjusted still. One problem is every shutdown it opens the fl website and they probably log it.
