Yikes. How did Mattel go from the “Barbie” movie to “Masters of the Universe?” This show is crippling male insecurity in movie form, exactly what “Barbie” was about. Clearly, a producer was working through some stuff. If you’re OK, you don’t take a character out of their fantasy world and send them to Earth to be threatened by a black female HR manager antagonist. Or compliment a woman by calling her a man. Or cast Jared Leto. Did Mattel not SEE it? #movies #barbie #mastersoftheuniverse
