I'm surprised when my fellow developers will toil with problems that should be out of scope for them. Sometimes you *don't* need to handle that issue at that layer of the stack. It can be someone else's problem, and that's ok. You don't need to solve every issue or get mad about external factors that you feel will make your job more complicated. Not every problem is *yours* to solve.
